At approximately 0530hrs the Broomall Fire Co. was alerted to a commercial building fire in the 100blk of Media Line Road, Newtown Twp.   Co. 41 was on location for a reported fire alarm and found an active fire in the wood shop at the high school and upgraded the assignment.  A quick knock of the fire by Ladder 41 and Truck & Utility 53 responded to assist with ventilation of smoke from the building.  No injuries were reported and school was canceled for the day while clean-up occurred.
