Shortly before 11 pm last evening, Broomall Firefighters along with mutual aid were alerted to a garage fire in the 600 block of S. Central Blvd, in Marple Twp. The duty crew of Engine 53 responded immediately and arrived a short time later to find a car fire in the driveway of the residence with fire extending to the house. The crew established a water supply and initiated a quick attack on the fire to prevent further damage to the structure. Mutual aid units arriving assisted with checking for extension/overhaul and Chief 53 had the S. Central Command.
