Just after 0900hrs the Broomall Fire Co. along with Marple EMS & Marple Police were notified of a motor vehicle accident in the 2700blk of Springfield Road, Marple Twp.  Crews arrived to find an SUV into the front of a residence with the driver suffering a serious medical emergency.  EMS initiated care and promptly transported the individual to an area hospital.  Rescue & Traffic 53 remained on scene to assess the structural stability of the house and await the arrival of the shoring/board-up company.  No other injuries were reported and the incident is under investigation by MTPD.
