BFC volunteers were alerted just prior to midnight to a reported vehicle accident with entrapment & fire at Sproul Road & Williamsburg Drive.  Units responding were updated by MTPD that the single occupant was removed from the vehicle by bystanders and the vehicle was well involved in fire.  Engine 53 arrived on scene and initiated fire extinguishment and was assisted by Squad & Rescue 53.  The single occupant of the vehicle was transport to a local trauma center by Marple EMS and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
