At approximately 0730 this morning the BFC was dispatched to the 2900 block of Eastburn Ave for a reported dwelling fire. Fire crews arrived to find fire and smoke from the roof of a 2 story single family split dwelling. Firefighters placed 2 lines into service to control the fire in the attic of the dwelling. The fire was placed under control shortly afterwards. There were no reported injuries and the incident is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall’s office.
