Truck 53 was placed in service following a series of training sessions for firefighters to become acclimated to its operation.  The aerial device was purchased used from the Arlington County Fire Department in Arlington, Virginia and replaces our former Quint 53 that was sold to a department in Nevada.  Truck 53 is a 2012 Pierce Arrow XT with a 100′ Heavy Duty ladder, along with a 1000gpm Hale Pump and 300 gallon water tank.   We hope the truck will service the Marple and surrounding communities for years to come!
