Shortly before 10am Rescue & Traffic 53 responded to an overturned tractor trailer Northbound on I-476 just South of West Chester Pike in Marple Township.  The truck carrying approx. 40 tons of frozen food flipped over, causing extensive traffic delays while crews worked to clear the wreckage.  Fire crews from both Broomall & Springfield responded, along with EMS agencies to evaluate the driver, who was not injured.  The highway remained closed for several hours and has since reopened, cause of the accident is under investigation by PSP.
