Around 0200hrs the BFC was alerted to this single vehicle accident on West Chester Pike & Raymond Road, Marple Twp.  Rescue & Squad 53 arrived to find one subject heavily trapped inside a sedan which was found on top of a guardrail into a tree.   Crews worked for approx. 40 mins to extricate the driver who was transported by EMS to an area trauma center.  Two other subjects from the vehicle were treated for minor injuries by EMS and the cause of the accident is under investigation by MTPD.  Also assisting on scene: Manoa Fire Co.
