Joining the Broomall Fire Company in November of 1959, Bruce Fitzgerald served the residents of Marple Twp. for over six decades. Bruce was the epitome of a gentleman, a kind and caring man who gave back to his community. His years of service to our organization is highly revered, much like others from his era, holding such positions as Membership Secretary and Secretary of the Relief Association to name a few. The BFC will forever remember Bruce for his dedication to the organization and his humbleness, often bringing a smile to many faces. Bruce was 99 years old and our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family, may you Rest In Peace.
