Shortly before 3pm the Broomall Fire Co. along with mutual aid partners were alerted to a reported house fire in the 500blk of W Parkway Blvd in Marple Twp. First arriving units encountered a fire in a basement dryer with minor extension. Fire was quickly knocked by the crews from Engine 53 and Tower 44 (Springfield), while Engine 56 (HTBF – Manoa) established a water supply. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
