Late Afternoon House Fire in Soaring July Heat
The Broomall Fire Company along with several mutual aid agencies were alerted late in the afternoon of a house fire with entrapment. Deputy 53 was first to arrive, finding fire extending the exterior of the house and into the 2nd floor on the B side of the structure and all occupants clear of the home. Engine 53 arrived after establishing a water supply and initiated a fire attack while other mutual aid apparatus arrived to assist. The fire was brought under control in approx. 30 mins with extensive overhaul and clean-up. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation by MTPD.
