Broomall Fire Co and mutual aid companies were alerted to a reported building fire with entrapment in the unit block of Brighton Village, Marple Twp. Engine 53 arrived to find a small kitchen fire located in one of the condos and quickly extinguished with a 1.75” hose line. Additional units assisted with searches and overhaul. No residents were home and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Deputy 53 (Lefferts) had the Brighton Village Command.
