Mid-afternoon alerted Engine 53 to assist Newtown Square Fire Co. on the working apartment fire on Charles Ellis Drive in Newtown Twp.  The engine crew assisted with fire suppression and overhaul, the fire was contained to the kitchen area of the apartment.
