Shortly before 5pm, the Broomall Fire Co was alerted for an automatic fire alarm in the 100blk of Overlook Drive, Marple Twp. As units began responding the assignment was upgraded to a reported house fire and added additional units from Rose Tree Fire Co. (Upper Providence Twp.) and Newtown Square Fire Co. (Newtown Twp.). Engine 53 arrived to find a small fire involving the dryer vent and a smoke condition in the residence. Units remained on scene to clear the smoke and no injuries were reported.
