Shortly after 3pm the BFC along with units from Springfield Fire Co. & Marple Twp. EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the I-476/Route 1 Interchange.  First arriving units found a four door sedan and a tree truck had collided resulting in two minor injuries of the drivers.  In addition, the diesel fuel saddle tank on the tree truck became ruptured spilling its contents onto the roadway.  Fire crews quickly were able to contain the leak using a retention pond and began stopping the spread with oil dry.  PSP & PennDOT were notified for a sand truck and towing units were dispatched to clear the wreckage.  The mezzanine level was closed for approx. 2+ hours.
