At approximately 10AM the Broomall Fire Company was dispatched to the 400 block of Concord Road for a reported dwelling fire. Fire crews arrived to find fire and smoke from the rear of a 1 story single family dwelling. Firefighters placed 2 lines into service to control the fire in the rear of the dwelling. Ladder companies arrived to search and open up. There was minimal extension into the dwelling. The fire was placed under control shortly afterwards. One person was transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained at the fire. .
