At approximately 1230am the Broomall Fire Co along with mutual aid units were dispatched to 1991 S. Sproul Road, Marple Twp for a commercial building fire. Engine 53 arrived to find a small fire contained to a fryer in a restaurant with a significant smoke condition inside. The fire was quickly contained and the scene was held to Engine 53 & Tower 44 (Springfield Fire Company). Deputy 53 (Lefferts) had Sproul Road Command.
