A couple of accidents in the area keep BFC volunteers busy in Marple Twp. Rescue 53 took in a two vehicle accident with a fuel spill on Sproul Road at Langford Road shortly after 5pm, with Marple EMS on location to evaluate and treat the injured.

Just before 7pm, the BFC was again dispatched to this single vehicle accident with entrapment on Davis Ave in the area of Springfield Road. Rescue and Squad 53 assisted with removing the single occupant, Assistant 53 had Command. Units from Marple EMS were also on scene to treat the entrapped occupant.

Both accidents are being investigated by MTPD.
