The BFC along with units from Springfield Fire Co. & Marple EMS were alerted to a 3 vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer on I-476 NB at MM 5.1.  First arriving units found one subject trapped in one vehicle and initiated extrication using the Holmatro hydraulic rescue tools.  Once freed, that subject was transported via EMS to a local trauma center for treatment.  PSP is investigating the cause of the accident and units remained on scene for a short time until towing resources arrived.
