Shortly after 10pm the BFC was alerted to an automatic fire alarm at the Wesley Enhanced Living – Main Line, 100blk of Halcyon Drive, Marple Twp.  Calls to Delco Fireboard quickly upgrade the response to a building fire, reporting smoke filling the 2nd floor of the independent living apartment building.   Chief 53 arrived to find an oven fire that was extinguished with a large amount of smoke filling the building.  Crews from Broomall, Newtown Square, & Rose Tree worked to clear the smoke, while Marple EMS evaluated several residents.  Additional units from Springfield & Brookline stood-by until cleared by command.
