Shortly after 6am the BFC was alerted to a working building fire assisting Co. 38 (Oakmont Fire Co.) on the 2nd Alarm RIT assignment in the unit block of W. Eagle Road, Haverford Twp.  Rescue 53 responded and stood-by as the 2nd due RIT while crews worked to bring the fire under control.  The cause of the fire is under investigation and Rescue 53 returned to Marple Twp. a short time later.  (Featured Photo Credit: Manoa 56)
