The BFC along with mutual aid agencies were notified of a commercial building fire in a fabrication shop in the Lawrence Park Industrial Center.  Engine 53 arrived to find smoke showing w/an active metal materials fire in the manufacturing area of the complex.  Fire was quickly extinguished, but smoke filled the large facility prompting the response of a specialized ventilation fan trailer.  No injuries were reported and units cleared after a couple hours.
