Broomall Fire Co. volunteers and Radnor Fire Co. were alerted just before 0600hrs of a gasoline tanker truck fire on I-476 NB MM 12.1.  First arriving Squad 15 found fire in the rear wheels of the tanker extending up the side of the tank carrying approx. 6,800 gallons of product.  Squad 15 initiated a quick fire attack while Engine 53 arrived to supply additional water and manpower to assist with extinguishment.  Units remained on scene to cool the tanker and ensure no leaks, the driver escaped without injury.
