Co. 53 assisted the Springfield Fire Co. at this house fire on Beatty Road in Springfield Township last evening. Crews from Engine, Truck, and Rescue 53 remained on scene for approx 90 minutes before returning to the township.

During this incident Squad 53 handled a 2nd emergency, a motor vehicle accident at I-476 & Route 1 in Marple Twp. One minor injury was evaluated by EMS at that scene and PSP is investigating the cause.
