Christmas Eve & Christmas Day proved to be a busy 48 hours for the Broomall Fire Co. answering approx. 25 calls for service.  Calls for several reported house fires, RIT assignments, numerous electrical utility malfunctions, a couple of water rescues, and a truck relocate to Middletown Twp. kept everyone running.  Severe weather moved through the area with torrential downpours and high winds fueled a majority of the responses and kept dedicated volunteers busy through Christmas morning.  The BFC reminds all residents to stay away from downed power lines and treat all electrical equipment as energized as well as avoid driving through flooded roadways.
